Situated in St. Therese’s Oncology Day Unit in the Lee Road Clinic, the Mercy Foundation’s Wall of Gratitude has been created to honour and remember all those who have received treatment and care at the Mercy University Hospital.
Designed and handmade by artist Siobhain Steele, these delicate, unique one-off Mercy Butterflies are made with love in Cork, to honour those who have come through our hospital. Created in porcelain, every Butterfly is impressed with plants from her garden and fired with her unique green glaze. Celebrating life and nature, Siobhain mindfully embosses the names of our loved ones on each Butterfly, creating a personalised piece of art.
