Meet the Green Acre Team

Managing Director

Green Acre M arketing was set up in 2013 by Aileen Barron. Aileen has worked in the agribusiness sector for over 15 years, is an Agribusiness and Marketing Graduate from GMIT, more recently a business graduate from Michael Smurfit Business School, UCD and also holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Irish Internet Association (IIA).

She has a wealth of experience having worked with many well-known agribusinesses over the years, whose interests span across dairy, beef, agronomy and equine.

Account Manager

Lisa Meyler joined the Green Acre Marketing team in 2017 as an Account Executive, having completed a Masters Degree in Marketing and Management in University College Cork, and previously worked in the Marketing Department of Wexford Festival Opera.

In 2020 Lisa progressed to an Account Manager role and has been responsible for the roll out and management of some very successful marketing campaigns.

Lisa has a strong passion for agriculture having grown up on her family farm in Carne, Co. Wexford. Lisa supports clients in all aspects of Marketing, PR and Communications, and with a particular flair for video production, leads the team on that front.

Marketing Campaign Manager

Shóna is a native of Waterford City and a Business Studies (Honours) degree holder from Waterford Institute of Technology (now SETU) and has an impressive portfolio in positions across marketing and project management.

“Given my academic and professional background in marketing, including an e-commerce role with Ardkeen Quality Food Stores, moving into a marketing brief with Green Acre felt like the right fit for me,” said Shóna.

Client Relations Director

Ailish Brennan has joined the Green Acre Marketing team as Client Relations Director, bringing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her new brief.

A Languages & Marketing graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT), Ailish has diligently worked in the agribusiness sector for the past 17 years, including 11 years as Marketing Manager with Lely Atlantic Ltd.

Ailish is delighted to have joined the Green Acre Marketing team and is looking forward to building relationships with clients and supporting them to grow their business.

Client Relations Director

Eva Smite, who has joined the Green Acre Marketing team as a Social Media Executive, is a Digital Marketing graduate of South East Technological University (SETU), where she achieved a First Class Honours.

A self-confessed quick learner who began her academic career by studying International Business, Eva’s deepening interest in digital media led her into SETU’s Marketing & Digital Media programme.

Keen to build experience in digital marketing and to learn more about the agriculture and agribusiness sectors, Eva initially began her time with Green Acre Marketing as an Intern in Year 3 of her degree.
